About Colin

Colin is no longer with us, but he will never be forgotten. We all lost an amazing instructor, person and friend with his passing. He was a key member of the Mile High Gracie family and will always live on in our memories, our art and in our instruction with unique techniques that Colin favored and developed.

Colin was born and raised in Denver, CO and has lived in the metro area for the duration of his life. Jiu-Jitsu has been a constant outlet for Colin, his entire training to black belt and beyond was spent at Mile High Gracie. He said, "The longer I train Jiu-Jitsu, the more I want to learn. It's addicting, you know. Teaching Jiu-Jitsu has been a great opportunity for me, I truly enjoy it." He held very high standards for a comfortable and safe teaching environment for our students along with a progressive and diverse teaching approach.

Colin worked very hard at everything in life even outside of jiu-jitsu, with his own construction and remodeling business. When Colin wasn't working on someone else's house, he liked to work on his own home and spending time with his wife and surrounding family.
