We were honored to host a Ryron Gracie seminar, on Friday, May 13, 2022.
One of our owners & head instructors, Matt Altschul, trained and earned his blackbelt under Ryron Gracie and his father, Rorion, at the Gracie Academy in Torrence, CA many years ago. Matt also visits CA often and when he does, he trains at the academy.
It was a great delight to have Ryron Gracie return to CO and our gym. It had been many years since Ryron conducted his last seminar in our old location, so this time around, he was able to experience our current location & facility.
As always, Ryron Gracie shares great wisdom and knowledge with his extensive experience in our art. This seminar was no exception. It is sometimes surprising that even at such a high level as Ryron, the simplest and most fundamental things still play a large role in his game. In addition, his ability to reveal new perspectives and change your approach with such simple actions & behaviors, can change your game without having to learn new complex techniques.
